How to check that a Repfie verification is genuine, and why your privacy stays safe.
A real person said "yes, this is me" for this content. That yes is saved in a public record that no one can change or erase. Here is how to be sure, in simple words.
Golden rule: Checking is always free and safe. It only shows you the record. If anyone ever asks you for money, passwords, your wallet, or secret words, it is a scam.
For the technical check: tap View Transaction to open the record on BscScan (the public explorer for BNB Smart Chain, bscscan.com). On that page, the transaction must interact with Repfie's official contract:
0x9C4C9C099F8cDab4459972E7C02E9Eb4d17FbE83This is Repfie's official contract address, shown as Contract Address on every certificate. If a transaction points to any other contract, it is not a genuine Repfie certificate.
Only view transactions on an official explorer
These are the trusted, official ones. If a transaction ever opens on any other website, treat it as fake:
Yes. When you post a public photo, Repfie writes a small proof to the blockchain so no one can steal your likeness. Here is exactly what is saved, and where.
Only two things are saved, and neither can be turned back into you:
These are irreversible: no one can rebuild your photo or your face from them. They exist only to prove something is, or is not, really you.
Your actual face images and creations are not on the blockchain. They are stored securely on Microsoft Azure, and you can delete them any time.
So the permanent public record holds only irreversible fingerprints that protect you. Your real images stay private, and you stay in control.
